We are hiring an experienced Office Administrator at our head office in Athenry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Full responsibility for the efficient and professional running of the Reception function
  • Maintains safe and clean reception area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Manage all incoming calls through a central switchboard and route to correct person/department or their voicemail (Accounts Department)
  • Scanning & registering invoices onto the accounts system
  • Booking and management of meeting rooms as required, including organising any refreshments required.
  • Booking of accommodation as required and maintaining credit card transactions
  • Manage incoming and outgoing post, couriers, etc.
  • Ensure main voicemail reflects office closings, special events as well as posting office closed signs.
  • Booking delivery dockets onto Navision, the accounts system.
  • Assist the accounts department as required.
  • Ad hoc tasks as required for the efficient running of the company.


  • Excellent interpersonal skills, comfortable and experienced interfacing with various levels of staff and management, while working in a fast-paced environment
  • Polished professional with outgoing attitude, be a team player and love to make visitors feel at home.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to successfully communicate with the public, other employees and vendors.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications such as Outlook, Excel and Word.
  • Excellent courteous and professional phone manner, previous experience in a high-volume call environment an advantage
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Flexibility in relation to ad hoc tasks
  • Previous experience with data entry desirable
  • Keen to learn new skills
  • Authorisation to work in Ireland


At least 2-3 years’ experience in a fast-paced administrative role required. Ideally have reception experience.
