Wexford IDA Office Block Development within the IDA park in Co. Wexford.

Project Description

The project requires the developer to fund and construct an Office building of Circa 2300Sq m on a circa 1.56-hectare site together with car parking to accommodate circa 220 cars on the IDA Wexford Business & Technology Park. Coffey Construction Limited was the PSCS for the project.

Project Delivery

The work involved the design and construct of the office for the IDA in Wexford who had a tenant for the building. The size of the building was 23,000sqft. The initial contract was for shell and core.

  • All the design work for the Structure, Mechanical and electrical and Data
  • The works involved in-situ concrete columns, floor slabs and concrete lift shafts, with a steel roof structure
  • The building was curtain walled in a mixture of Terra Cotta tiles and glazing, with a brois solaire on the front of the building.
  • As part of a separate contract for the client, the fit-out of the internal finishing’s including M&E and data was carried out on the building.

As part of the ground works package, the following works were carried out, Palisade boundary fencing, Private surface water drainage works connecting to a soakaway, Oil separator, Cellular soakaway, Car park, paved areas and granular margins construction, Kerbing and edging, Road markings to car park spaces and other markings, Street lighting CCTV equipment and Landscaping.
