This update highlights ongoing construction at the Pendinas Distribution Service Reservoir (DSR) in Coed Llandegla Forest, a key project to improve water storage and resilience for communities in North Wales.
Coffey is delivering this project on behalf of Severn Trent.
The new twin-cell reservoir will hold 2 million litres of treated water and includes pipework, a valve chamber, underfloor drainage and a water quality sampling facility.

Recent progress on site includes:
• Completion of all DSR wall pours
• Installation of inlet, outlet and overflow pipework
• Installation of the storm block surface water attenuation tank
Despite challenging weather conditions, the Coffey team has worked to minimise disruption and stay on track. Work is now underway on the RC roof structures for both the reservoir and the valve chamber, with mechanical installation and commissioning due later this year.
