The Coffey ‘Innovation in Action’ programme was launched last week at the Head Office in Athenry. The programme seeks to encourage our staff to take learnings from outside the construction sector and apply the lessons to the problems we are solving for our clients. We welcomed Gavin Kenny of CroiValve as the inaugural speaker for ‘Innovation in Action’ last Friday – Gavin provided a very comprehensive overview of challenges faced in cardiac care and discussed the innovations which are solving those complex challenges. He also provided some valuable insights into the innovation processes used within the medical device sector and their potential application to the construction sector.
