The Sunday Independent, in partnership with international market research company Statista, one of the world’s leading statistical companies, launched a nationwide survey in March 2021 to identify the top employers in Ireland. The research asked participants to indicate the extent they would recommend their employer to friends and family members and to share their opinions on a range of issues relating to their employer, including salaries, leadership, and potential for development. The feedback from over 6500 employees who took part in the research formed the basis for the ranking of the companies featured in survey.

The report states that Coffey “operates in every major construction sector and undertakes work throughout the UK and Ireland. Ranked at 31, Coffey employs high calibre individuals from a broad skills base and has earned a reputation for professional excellence”.

Sean Coffey, HR & IT Director commenting on the award said “Our vision is to grow sustainable business, achieve excellence in everything we do and make Coffey a great choice for our people and for or clients. We believe our people are our greatest asset and we are committed to treating them fairly and giving them every opportunity to develop and grow within the business. As an equal opportunities’ employer, our high calibre workforce include those from diverse backgrounds, female leaders and professionals, and all our team members, regardless of positions, have great range of work experience, which contributes to the company’s success.  The recognition of being listed as one of Irelands leading employers is testament to the progress, we are making in putting our people at the centre of our operations”
