Ireland needs continued investment in the infrastructure that supports our communities, economy and future generations. At Coffey, we’re focused on playing an increasingly important role in delivering it.
We were delighted to welcome Jenny Melia, CEO of Enterprise Ireland, along with James Fox and Majella Maher, to our headquarters in Athenry on Friday.
The visit was an opportunity to share our growth journey and our ambition to build a stronger, more innovative Irish engineering business, creating skilled employment, developing our people and expanding our reach across Ireland, the UK and international markets.
We also showcased the growing capabilities of Coftec, where investment in specialist manufacturing and offsite construction is helping us rethink how essential infrastructure can be delivered more efficiently, consistently and sustainably.

Why does this matter?
Because growing Coffey is about more than increasing the size of our business. It’s about strengthening Irish engineering capability, creating opportunities for our people and delivering the water, energy and transport infrastructure that communities will depend on for generations.
Enterprise Ireland has an important role to play in supporting that ambition, helping Irish businesses innovate, scale and compete internationally.

Thank you to Jenny, James and Majella for visiting and for the continued engagement and support.
Our purpose remains clear: Enhancing communities through engineering excellence.
