Coffey was recognised with two awards at the 2026 National Irish Safety Organisation (NISO) Occupational Safety Awards in Killarney on Friday 9th October 2026.
The awards ceremony was preceded by the NISO annual health and safety conference on the topic of “Health and Safety in the Digital Age 2.0”, where our HSQE Director Paul Daly CFIOSH shared a contractor’s perspective on the practical use of digital tools.
The Distinction Award recognises the efforts of our teams and supply chain to keep people safe.
The Exceptional High Achiever Award was received for consistently achieving Distinction or above for more than 10 years consecutively. We are particularly proud of this award, as it reflects the ongoing commitment and leadership at Coffey and our relentless ambition to improve every day.
While the HSQE team accepted the awards (and enjoyed the Killarney hospitality!), they did so on behalf of everybody at Coffey and our supply chain, who play a part and contribute to these achievements and ensure that we live our values every day.
