We’re proud to share that Coffey has been named one of Ireland’s Best Employers 2025 by the Sunday Independent and Statista, placing 10th overall and earning the distinction of highest-ranked construction employer in the country.
This is our second consecutive year in the Top 10, and the fourth time we’ve featured in the national listing. This recognition reflects our continued focus on building a workplace where people feel supported, respected, and empowered to do great work.
The Ireland’s Best Employers list is based entirely on independent, anonymous employee feedback. More than 12,000 people working in companies with over 200 employees participated in the survey conducted by Statista, providing over 95,000 evaluations. Participants rated their employers and others in their industry across areas like:
- Career development
- Pay and benefits
- Work-life balance
- Overall workplace culture
On 24 November 2024, the Sunday Independent opened up participation to the public, allowing employees to share their experiences via a QR code in print and a link online. This gave more people, including many of Coffey’s employees, the opportunity to help shape the final rankings.

A Survey That Reflects Real Experience
Unlike other awards, companies could not influence the outcome of this survey through branding, nominations, or marketing. Only businesses that were actively rated by employees, either through Statista’s independent panel or the public survey invitation, were eligible for inclusion.
That makes this recognition a true reflection of how our people feel about working at Coffey.
A New Chapter Starts This Week
This recognition comes at an exciting time for us. In 2024, we celebrated 50 years of Coffey, marking five decades of delivering infrastructure with integrity and excellence.
Now, we’re looking to the future. This week, we’re launching our new long-term strategy — a bold plan to grow our business to €500 million in revenue by 2035, increase our impact across sectors, and build on everything we’ve achieved so far.
It marks the start of a new chapter and one that will carry us forward for the next 50 years.
