At Coffey, we’re proud to support Breast Cancer Ireland as one of our chosen charities for 2025.
Breast Cancer Ireland is a registered charity focused on raising vital funds to support pioneering research programmes nationwide, while also promoting education and awareness on the importance of good breast health among women of all ages. Their vision is to transform breast cancer from often being a fatal disease into a treatable long-term illness and their mission is to speed up research discovery output to offer better, more positive treatment options for patients.
The picture below shows Carol Grogan accepting the donation towards cancer research on behalf of Breast Cancer Ireland from Coffey.

Throughout March, our team walked (and even ran!) ‘2K a day’ in support of this important cause. Thanks to the incredible efforts of everyone who took part, Coffey staff raised €2,050 and with the Coffey Board matching the funds, we are proud to have donated a total of €4,000 to Breast Cancer Ireland.
As part of her visit, Carol also delivered an educational workshop on breast health awareness for our staff. While the primary focus is often on women, the session also highlighted the importance of awareness for men, who can develop breast cancer too, as they have breast tissue.

We are very grateful to Carol for her time and for helping to promote awareness among all our team, both in-person at our Athenry office and online via Teams.
Thank you to everyone who supported this initiative – every step made a difference.
