Coffey is delivering Stage 3 of wastewater network improvements in Celbridge, Co. Kildare, as part of Uisce Éireann’s Growth and Development Programme.
This next phase of works will increase capacity within the existing sewer network to support residential and commercial development of the town.

The upgrade involves:
- Installing approximately 2,170 metres of new sewer pipeline from Crodaun Forest Park to the Castletown Main Wastewater Pumping Station
- A combination of 300mm uPVC and 450mm concrete pipes
- Works taking place within an active urban setting, along local roads in west Celbridge
- Environmental safeguards in place near the River Liffey
Coffey has previously completed the Stage 1 Concept Design and Stage 2 Detailed Design under separate contracts. This latest stage is focused on construction and delivery.

To support transparency and local engagement, Coffey and Uisce Éireann held a town hall forum in Celbridge in December, offering residents and stakeholders the opportunity to find out more.
