Coffey has announced the appointment of Gerry Curran as Chief Commercial Officer, strengthening its senior leadership team as the company advances its long-term growth strategy across Ireland and the UK.
Gerry brings significant commercial and operational experience from engineering-led and regulated industries, with a proven record of driving profitable growth, developing strategic partnerships, and strengthening customer engagement.

A science and business graduate, Gerry began his career with Bord na Móna Environmental Limited, where he spent 18 years in senior roles across environmental consultancy, business development, national sales, and general management. He later joined MECO Ireland Ltd., part of the Grundfos Group, as General Manager, supporting the life sciences and food and beverage sectors with advanced water purification technologies.
Most recently, Gerry served as Commercial Director at Flow Technology, a process engineering firm delivering turnkey process systems, site support services, and equipment solutions to the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, distillery, food, and beverage industries. Across these roles, he developed deep expertise in commercial strategy, market expansion, and customer relationship management.
In his new role at Coffey, Gerry will lead market analysis, marketing, business development, and customer relationship management. This newly established commercial function reflects Coffey’s focus on strengthening its commercial foundation as it works toward its 2035 growth ambition, including a target of €500 million in annual revenue.
