Coffey was proud to support the annual Jimmy Nealon Perpetual Cup, an event that honors the memory of Darren Whelan, a talented young hurler who tragically passed away in 2021. The tournament, hosted by his home club, Kildimo-Pallaskenry GAA in Co. Limerick, brought together friends, teammates, and the wider community to celebrate Darren’s life.
Darren was a kind and fun-loving 23-year-old who had recently completed a student placement with Coffey. He is remembered fondly by all who worked with him.

The event, held on Sunday, July 5th, not only celebrated Darren but also served as a successful fundraiser for two important causes: Milford Hospice and Kildimo-Pallaskenry GAA.
In keeping with Coffey’s core values—Do the Right Thing, Do It Better, Do It Together—we were honored to contribute to the success of this meaningful event. Supporting community initiatives like this is central to our ethos, and we are committed to helping remember Darren and the positive impact he had on everyone he met.
