As Coffey continues to grow across Ireland and the UK, we’re looking at the everyday decisions we can make to operate more efficiently, support our people and reduce our environmental impact.
One of those decisions is how we manage our fleet.
We have added five new SEAT Leon vehicles and four new Volkswagen Golf vehicles, supplied by Monaghans Galway and Trinity Motors. They will provide our teams with safe, reliable and efficient transport as they travel between projects.

Replacing vehicles with newer, more efficient models is a practical step we can take today, while electrification remains an important part of our longer-term approach to lower-carbon transport.
Our current fleet assessment indicates that this upgrade could reduce diesel consumption by approximately 900 litres per year, avoiding an estimated 2.4 tonnes of CO₂ emissions annually. We’ll review these estimates against actual fleet performance over time.
For us, this is about more than nine new vehicles. It’s about continually looking at how we work and asking where we can do things better.
It’s one practical example of our Do it Better value in action: finding safer, smarter and more efficient ways of working as Coffey grows.
Thank you to our Plant Department, Monaghans and Trinity Motors for helping make this improvement happen.
