On Saturday 21 June 2025, colleagues from across Coffey came together to climb Croagh Patrick in support of Galway Hospice. The event formed part of our 2025 charity programme, through which Coffey supports four charitable organisations that deliver a meaningful impact in the communities where we live and work.
The group gathered at the base of Croagh Patrick early on Saturday morning, ready to take on the climb in support of Galway Hospice. The ascent, while physically demanding, was approached with a strong sense of teamwork and shared purpose. Throughout the day, colleagues supported one another and demonstrated the collaboration and mutual encouragement that define our Do It Together value.
Galway Hospice provides specialist palliative care for people living with life-limiting illnesses, delivered both in patients’ homes and through its inpatient unit. The organisation also supports families and carers, offering holistic care during some of life’s most challenging circumstances. It is a service that touches many lives across the region, and we are proud to play a small part in supporting their work.
To date, we have raised €1,600 of our €2,000 fundraising target, with donations open until 21 July. We’re extremely grateful to all those who have contributed so far and to the team members who gave their time and energy to complete the climb.
This initiative reflects our continued commitment to giving back to the community and fostering a culture of shared responsibility and support. It also highlights the strength of our team when we come together with a common goal.
