Coffey has been awarded a contract to deliver upgrade works at Derby Sewage Treatment Works.
Derby Sewage Treatment Works is one of Severn Trent Water’s major wastewater treatment facilities, serving Derby and the surrounding communities. Alongside treating wastewater, the site plays an important role in renewable energy generation and resource recovery through advanced sludge and anaerobic digestion processes.
This project will support the long-term resilience and performance of this key facility, with improvements focused on enhancing the reliability of critical inlet infrastructure and electrical systems.
Our works will include the replacement and upgrade of core mechanical and electrical assets, helping to ensure the continued safe, efficient and compliant operation of the site.
